Our Editorial Principles
TennisBetting.ca was founded on the premise that Ontario bettors deserve accurate, plainly written information that is not shaped by commercial pressure. Our editorial team operates independently from any business development or affiliate functions within the organisation. No operator, agency, or third party has editorial input into our reviews, rankings, or written guides.
Factual accuracy is a non-negotiable standard across all content on this site. Before publication, claims about licensing, payment methods, market availability, and regulatory status are verified directly against operator websites, provincial regulator bulletins, and primary legislative sources. Where information is uncertain or disputed, we say so clearly rather than presenting conjecture as fact.
The sports betting and online gambling landscape changes quickly. Operators enter or exit markets, feature sets change, and provincial regulations evolve. We commit to reviewing all core content on this site at least quarterly, with high-traffic pages and time-sensitive information checked more frequently. Every published page carries a "last reviewed" date so readers can judge the currency of the information themselves.
How We Review Sportsbooks
Six criteria form the backbone of every sportsbook evaluation we publish.
Licensing & Security
We confirm each operator holds a valid licence from a recognised regulator — such as the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) for Ontario-based play — and verify that SSL encryption and responsible gambling tools are in place.
Odds Quality
We compare each operator's published odds against market benchmarks across multiple tennis events. Consistently competitive margins indicate genuine value for bettors, and we note where an operator lags behind peers on overround.
Tennis Market Depth
A sportsbook rated for tennis bettors must offer meaningful coverage of the sport. We assess the range of available markets — tournament winners, top finishers, head-to-head matchups, first-round leaders, and in-play options — across major and minor tours.
Value Assessment
Sportsbooks are assessed on the quality and variety of their tennis markets, competitive pricing across ATP and WTA events, payout speeds, and the depth of live betting options available to Ontario players.
Payment Speed
We evaluate both deposit and withdrawal options available to Ontario players, noting supported currencies, processing times, and any fees. Operators with fast, fee-free CAD withdrawals score higher than those with slow or restricted payout processes.
Customer Support

Update Policy
All reviews and guide pages on TennisBetting.ca carry a "last reviewed" date. Our Senior Betting Editor schedules a full content audit at minimum once per quarter. High-priority pages — including top-rated sportsbook reviews, sportsbook reviews, and provincial legal guides — are reviewed monthly or whenever a material change is identified, such as an operator adjusting its terms or a regulator issuing new guidance.
Minor corrections (such as updated payout speeds or updated odds data or feature changes) are made by the editorial team on a rolling basis without requiring a full page review. Significant changes to a review score or ranking position require sign-off from the Editor in Chief before publication. All substantive updates are reflected in the "last reviewed" timestamp visible at the top of each affected page.
Corrections Policy
We take accuracy seriously and welcome correction requests from readers, operators, and regulators. If you believe information published on TennisBetting.ca is factually incorrect, outdated, or misleading, please contact our editorial team with supporting evidence. We commit to reviewing all substantiated correction requests within five business days.
Where a correction is upheld, we will update the relevant content promptly, note the correction in a visible manner on the affected page, and update the "last reviewed" date. We will not silently remove incorrect information when a transparent correction is the appropriate response. Corrections submitted without supporting evidence may be dismissed but will always receive a written response explaining our position.

Affiliate Relationship Disclosure
TennisBetting.ca earns commission income when readers register at sportsbooks through links on this site. This is our primary revenue model and is disclosed on every page where affiliate links appear. The existence of an affiliate relationship with an operator does not guarantee a positive review, a minimum score, or a position in any ranking table.
Operators are assessed on the six criteria described above. An operator that fails on licensing, odds quality, or responsible gambling obligations will receive a low rating or may be excluded from the site entirely, regardless of any commercial relationship. Our Editor in Chief has final authority over all editorial decisions and is not subject to direction from the business side of the organisation.
